Plot Summary:

          New World is one of the most popular Taiwanese drama today. Relating to an editor named Yang Zhao Yi, also known as Miu Miu, the film takes us back to a village with good childhood memories, but also imbue with tragic tears.

          In this village, Miu Miu has 3 friends: Xiao Cao, Dragonfly and Baby Crickets. When kids, they played together and planted the row of lovesick trees. Then, Miu Miu went away the village with her family and left her three friends there. The story begins when Miu Miu decides to come back to see her old friends. She suddenly knows that all of them were lost together after a tragic accident. They were adopted by different families one by one, and then lost in touch.

          Meanwhile, a investigation team including Director Zheng, Chen Jie, Liu Dong Han, Lin Zi Yan, He Zhen Fei and Zhao Zhi Gang, is established in order to find the perpetrator who attacked the governor’s daughter. The suspects in this case are also the witnesses of the past accident.

          As for Miu Miu, in the process of searching the accident, she finds and meets Shen You Fu - Shen Zi Hong’s adoptive father, he is apparently not bad but tries to hide something. And then she meets Dragonfly but he always eludes her as if he does not want to disclose his identity. Is it true that he is also figuring out the truth by himself, so he does not want to implicate Miu Miu? But if so, why does not he cooperate with her to quickly find the culprits. How will he do? While remaining hatred but also taking responsibility for his mother who lost consciousness and not realized him for 20 years after that accident. Reasonably, is this one of the reasons that he eludes Miu Miu?

          For the special team, without mentioning to Director zheng, 5 remaining members are experts in  investigation, especially Lin Zi Yan, she is not only quick-witted but also has extremely accurate intuition. At first, the team has no respect for her, but she tries to chase culprits after many times, their sight at her has positively changed. Also, Liu Dong Han, a cool guy who is quiet but has sharp observation, hardly any details slip out of his sight. Unlike the rest, he completely believes in Lin Zi Yan, and the relationship between them is gradually growing.

          The drama’s moving is becoming more thrilling when criminals begin to work. Their action is also extremely sophisticated. They prepare carefully and seem to be under the law. The most suspect is Zhang Guo Tang, a criminal with the shootings of mass destruction, his gangs are You Zhi Ju and Wei Bing Cong. Three of them are suspected of relating to the past accident.

          After a series of events, Chen Zi Hong’s father is suspected and invited for question. As for Miu Miu, she feels Chen Zi Hong and Dragonfly have an invisible link that she trusts him absolutely. Trying to exculpate Chen Zi Hong, Miu Miu finds out a surprising truth about him that he is Dragonfly, one of her lost three friends. But she cannot understand why does he have to meander to hide it?

          As the later, the case becomes more complicated, the special team starts to understand together, they coordinate rhythmically and get to know well about the actions of criminals. It was from here, the relationship between them is gradually perplexing when Fan Mei- the governor’s daughter who gets feeling with Liu Dong Han, but this cool guy spends his affection for female colleague Lin Zi Yan. How will this relationship be? Will it affect to their investigation?

          For Lin Zi Yan, is she hiding something? The village seems to contain her recollections. Or Lin Zi Yan is Xiao Cao who used to cry and got XiShuai’s protection.

          Developing with the case, the old friends gradually appear in the show, the thought that they had lost each other from childhood, but fate has brought them together just because they do not recognize or know. How about Baby Cricket and Xiao Cao, who really are they?  For the criminals, who stands behind them?
