Set in the lands of Azamgarh UP, Piya Rangrezz is a journey and reformation of a charming and powerful bad boy Sher Singh to becoming a responsible, loving husband and eventually a patriarch who even challenges his society's incorrect notions. The story showcases how love and care for one's companion need not necessarily make a man weaker. If channelled correctly, it can actually make him a true and complete man.
The producers of this show revealed that the story was inspired by Khaled Hosseini from the work "A thousand of glorious sun is better than a story about mother in law and daughter-in-law".
“Crazy Love” has a distinctive love story – A story where the girl (Shraddha) is forced to marry her obsessed lover (Sher). Sher is madly in love with Shraddha. However, Shraddha doesn’t love him but is scared as he is a goon. Yet, he is so obsessed that he marries her forcefully. The serial revolves around how Shraddha falls in love with Sher and even tries to transform him for good. The interesting aspect of the serial is that Sher’s mother Bhanwari Devi is a don who runs liquor based business.
The story goes more dramatic later when Shraddha fell in love with Sher, even she was trying to change him to become a good person. Because of Shraddha’s sincere love for him as well as what he gave her. Sher has gradually removed his aggressive appearance to become a good man of society, as well as a loving husband Shraddha at the end.
In addition, the show also focus on exploiting the hot issues of the current Indian society, and in particular the looting, illegal business, the criminal activities in the State of Uttar Pradesh, North of India. The film also reveals that Sher's mother, Mrs. Vevi Bhanwari is a illegal tycoon in liquor trading. And with the work she has done, will she accept Shraddha, her hatred daughter-in-law with many opposite thoughts, who take her son away to against what she wants. Will she give up all to become a good mother and a normal woman like any other housewife? And Sher Singh, does he truly fight against his mother?
